NMIMS 06-08 meet

Hi everyone
True to the spirit of this Nizam City.I am about to give you guys a curtain raiser to the first Hyderabad meet of NMIMS batch of 06-08.

Applause!! Applause!! Applause!!

Well I was apprehensive as to whether all the people from Hyderabad joinin Nm would be able to make it…we were already short on one member ‘Aditya ‘…neways we decided we’ll have it this Saturday that is 6th may ,I asked the people for their preferences….was planning to create a poll for the same …but thanks a lot to all the members from Hyderabad…the next morning when I came back I found that the Hyderabad group had done a good job by already deciding on the place for the meet….hang on guys I was supposed to declare the venue and inform you guys not the other way around ;-)

Guess what there was a punishment for reaching late !!!!!The person reaching last was supposed to treat the others with ”YUMMY JALEBIS”….and truly they were “Yummy”…well yours truly had already tried and tested them ;)

On the day of the meet…well the two scientists Abhinav and Himanshu were the first to reach….while I was still struggling to tell my RickyMan(auto walla yaar) that EAT STREET was near TANKBUND(Its exactly opposite to TANKBUND just that theres a big lake in between :p)neways reached just in time…I was the third one to reach EATSTREET…(worthy of a bronze pleeeease :D)…..Swapnil reached just in time to ensure that he wasn’t the one to treat us…..and now for the “LADY SPOILT FOR CHOICES”(Swapnil and Himanshu didn’t make it easy for her to make a choice either)…well we’re talking about Aparna here….

Thanks to Aparna the moderator…we had an intro session….and I was amazed to listen to Himanshu and abhinav…both of them are workin for DRDO…and on missile launch too at times…guys correct me if m wrong….Swapnil the ever so cool infy guy……except that he got all the phone calls at the right moment...representing CTS was Aparna…and urs truly completed the Technology family for Hyderabad..representing Satyam…..

We discussed whether VGSOM was better or NM…and whether VGSOM was better or NM….and whether VGSOM was better or NM…(I did write it thrice…not copy paste J)
And then there was hostel J…and then there was girls hostel…I don’t think that Aparna was aware that I was there too…so Aparna you are forgiven till the next meet …

“Thou shall never talk about the niceties of girls hostel again in front of the oh not so fairer would be batchmates…” remember this holy prayer gals….

And then there was a string of coincidences left to unfold…..between me and Aparna…not that much only that we attended the same GD/PI sessions….…..she still needed some time to recognize me…I’m glad Aparna that you finally did…

Well let me tell you that Aparna the lone original hyderabadi…too turned out to be from Karnataka…so will the real hyderabadi please stand up….Swapnil is from Nanded…m from Delhi ,Abhinav from lucknow…and Himanshu from Muzaffurpur …

Now it was time for some yummy jalebis….and boy oh boy…Aparna loved em all I mus tell ya….she was very happy treatin us…oh I jus wish u keep turning up late and we can have all the nice things available on EATSTREET menu J….

Well it was time to leave…well actually time for people to go and watch some movie ;)…….Thanks a lot everyone for making the first meet a huge success…looking forward for some more…
